This Privacy Statement describes how Helsinki Foodstock Oy (Business ID: 1560073-8) processes personal data, what personal data is collected, for what purposes the data is used for, and to whom the data may be disclosed.

Helsinki Foodstock Oy is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of data subjects. In processing personal data, Helsinki Foodstock Oy complies with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) and other applicable legislation pertaining to privacy and the processing of personal data. This Privacy Statement applies to all services, applications, systems and channels offered by the company and the processing of personal data of Helsinki Foodstock Oy’s stakeholders.

Purpose and legal basis for processing personal data
Helsinki Foodstock Oy primarily processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • managing stakeholder relationships
  • ordering and delivering products and services
  • personalising products and services, personalised customer service regarding products and services, targeted customer communications and recommendations, tracking the use of services
  • marketing communications and the targeting thereof
  • compiling statistics and processing data for purposes such as the creation of statistical analyses to support business development and improve the product and service offering
  • internal reporting
  • performing rights and obligations arising under the applicable legislation
  • risk management and preventing misuse
  • protecting the assets of Helsinki Foodstock Oy and the safety of stakeholders

 

The processing of personal data is based on the data subject’s consent, a contractual relationship between the controller and the data subject, or the controller’s legitimate interest. With regard to statutory obligations, a contractual relationship, reporting and ensuring safety, the processing of personal data is also based, where applicable, on statutory obligations and compliance therewith. Retention of data

Helsinki Foodstock Oy only retains personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes specified in this Privacy Statement, unless keeping the personal data longer is required by the applicable legislation (e.g. due to responsibilities and obligations arising from specific legislation or reporting obligations) or in case the company needs the data to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Data concerning customer identification will be retained for as long as required by legislation.

When personal data is no longer needed for the above-mentioned purposes, it is erased within a reasonable time or rendered anonymous in such a way that individuals cannot be identified, directly or indirectly, from the data.

Helsinki Foodstock Oy processes personal data in a way that ensures the appropriate level of protection of personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage. Appropriate technical and administrative safeguards are used for the protection of personal data. Based on the Finnish Employment Contracts Act and contractual terms of confidentiality, all parties processing personal data are bound by professional secrecy regarding personal data processing matters.

Disclosure

Personal data may be transferred between companies belonging to Kotipizza Group (which Helsinki Foodstock Oy is a part of) for the purposes specified in this Privacy Statement and in accordance with the requirements stipulated by the legislation governing data protection.

The disclosure of names and addresses for the purpose of direct advertising, other direct marketing, opinion polls, market surveys and other comparable activities is subject to the data subject’s consent. Data is not disclosed regularly, nor without the data subject’s consent, except within the limits stipulated by the applicable legislation.

Data transfers outside the EU/EEA

We mainly process data in the European Union and European Economic Area (“EU/EEA”), but data may also be processed outside the EU/EEA.
